Merino wool felt is unique since it is composed of very fine and soft fibers that are tightly interlocked under intense heat and pressure. The resulting felt is thick, dense and will not dent, tear or break.

Fortunately wool is naturally resistant to dirt and stains. Like anything in your home though, it will need to be occasionally cleaned. A good first step would be to try cleaning with a damp cloth.
